New STATE_FREED state for SceneJS.Load nodes

Reported by lindsay.kay (at xeolabs) | May 25th, 2010 @ 04:30 AM | in V0.7.6

A new STATE_FREED state introduced for the SceneJS.Load node and its sub-classes.

In this state, the node's load is pending after the node has had its subgraph destroyed by SceneJS to reclaim memory after not having been rendered for some time (Eg. is within a SceneJS.Boundary that has not intersected the view frustum for a while, or perhaps within a SceneJS.Selector that has not selected it lately). When next rendered, it will then repeat its load request and transition to STATE_LOADING.

SceneJS provides easy access to WebGL through a simple and declarative JavaScript API. The SceneJS API is functional, which enables its scene definitions to be really compact and expressive, while hooking into other JavaScript code just that little bit more smoothly.
