Provide downloads of examples to run locally
Reported by lindsay.kay (at xeolabs) | May 9th, 2010 @ 11:33 PM
Provide SceneJS examples that a user can download to run on their own computer, to illustrate the whole page-library integration and fast-track them into to hacking them on their own computers.
Solution
We would want to keep examples centered around the IDE. Ideally, the IDE could offer a Download This button that downloads an archive containing the SceneJS library, scene definition JS and HTML page. This would require something on the server to do the archiving - could probably do that in a Perl script. Alternatively, could just store zipped versions of each example in IDE's catalogue.

SceneJS provides easy access to WebGL through a simple and declarative JavaScript API. The SceneJS API is functional, which enables its scene definitions to be really compact and expressive, while hooking into other JavaScript code just that little bit more smoothly.
